August 13, 2009

A car park, run by a robot system, was opened yesterday at Ibn Battuta Jet, near Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai. It is the first of its kind in the Middle East and was developed by UAE-based Seven Tides. Andrew Chambers, managing director of Asteco, said the new system can accommodate for 765 cars without any human interference and can also bring a car to its owner in 45 to 160 seconds as a maximum.
