Robotic Parking Systems was contracted for the design and build of this automated parking facility. The system design was inserted under the concrete structure of the above towers.
EFT previously held the Guinness World Record for “Largest Automated Parking Facility” at 1191 spaces. The automatic car park system doubled the project’s parking capacity within its allocated footprint, leaving more space for revenue generating commercial development. The system also brought to the project a superior user experience. Users simply park their cars on the pallet in the entry/exit terminal and walk away with their keys.

This better than valet-style service is one of the reasons Robotic Parking Systems was named most luxurious automated garage by the World’s Luxury Guide. Adding to the user experience are the spacious entry/exit terminals themselves which offer more than 4 feet on either side of the car making getting in and out comfortable and easy. Navigating in and out of these terminals is easy as well with large LCD screens providing clear graphics and multilingual directions.
Based on the company’s experience and discussions with UAE Civil Defense, a new Civil Defense Code for robotic parking was developed and serves as a guideline for future projects in the region. This new Civil Defense Code acknowledges and takes into consideration the work achieved by the Technical Committee of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 88A). Robotic Parking Systems’ President is a member of NFPA’s Committee for Garages and Parking Structures.
Following the completion of the historic automatic car park system of EFT, Robotic Parking Systems went on to build an even larger facility in Kuwait. The fully automated system housed at the Al Jahra Court Complex holds the current Guinness World Record for largest fully automated parking facility.
