In 2009 Robotic Parking Systems made engineering history with the construction of the first automatic parking garage in the Middle East. The high-density parking system used half the space of conventional parking, allowing the developers of the project to use more square footage for revenue generating commercial use.

For those parking their cars, the automated system provides a superior user experience. So much so that The World’s Luxury Guide recognized the Robotic Parking System at Ibn Battuta Gate as the most luxurious automated garage in the world. Beautiful, spacious, and easy-to-navigate entry/exit terminals make parking a pleasure rather than a chore. Users park their cars on a pallet and walk away with their keys.

Upon return, users do not have to search for their car, they simply wait in a comfortable lobby while the system brings their car to them. And they don’t have to wait long, because the system is fast. Performance tests proved peak traffic handling of more than 250 cars per hour with the capability of 32 cars in motion at any one time.

As of 2024, the automatic parking garage has a continuous operations track record of 15 years. Robotic Parking Systems operated the car park from 2009-2014.
